I still say this team has at least shown some progress from last year...no way the 2009 version comes back after getting down 2-0 in Canada against any of the teams up there. Good job battling back to get a point.

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated left wing Kristian Huselius off injured reserve and placed center Derek MacKenzie on injured reserve, club Executive Vice President and General Manager Scott Howson announced today. Huselius is a player available for selection for tonight’s Blue Jackets game at Vancouver.

Huselius, 32, has missed the last 22 games due to a lower body injury suffered at Chicago on October 23. He has registered three goals and two assists for five points and four penalty minutes in seven games this season. In 628 career games with Florida, Calgary and the Blue Jackets, he has tallied 179-254-433 and 248 penalty minutes.

MacKenzie, 29, suffered a lower body injury against the New York Rangers on December 11 and is listed as day-to-day. He has collected 2-3-5, four penalty minutes and is +2 in 23 games with the Blue Jackets this season. He has notched 5-8-13 in 87 career games with Atlanta and the Blue Jackets.
