Well holy shit. Didn't catch a minute of the game.

About the trade.. I like it. The Jackets get a good leader and serviceable defenseman (even though I can't stand Jurcina) and ship out a replaceable player.

I would think that Clark will spend most of his time with Pahlson. I don't think that his greatest contribution will be on the ice. He will hopefully bring so much more in the locker room. I wondered all summer how the loss of a guy like Peca would affect the team. I think we all can see that this team lacks the veteran voice to hold things together.

And another large guy on the blueline to help the physical play in our own zone can't hurt either.

Jackets playing really well, controlling the offensive zone the last 20 minutes, but still down 1-0.

About 10 left in the 3rd.
