Columbus Blue Jackets (Official Thread)

Sorry about that folks. Battery on the trimmer was dead, so no pruning was done last night. Not looking good for tonight either. Hopefully I can get it taken care of before Thursday's game.

The idea of getting rid of Hitch seems silly. Unless you can upgrade, I'd say firing Hitch is not a desired result here.

I was drunk when I made that post.

But I don't see why it seems silly. Some sort of change is needed. What.. I don't know. The Jackets are playing the worst hockey in the NHL and they have the talent to make the playoffs. I have a hard time believing they all just got really bad over the course of an off-season.

Since Novemver 21, they've lost 21 games and won 3. Don't know of many coaches who are going to survive that.

Keep in mind that I haven't watched all their games. I hate watching teams that don't give a shit.

Tell me about it.

IT's one thing to be struggling because every all-star on the roster except Lidstrom and Datsyuk is out injuried, Columbus has been relatively spared of the injury bug so far.

I don't get it either.

Edmonton could be the only team in the NHL that is actually playing worse than the Blue Jackets. Calgary (tonight's game) should be a better test.

:)

thats true, although the jackets didnt look to hot last night either. a couple of mistakes and breakdowns could have cost us the game, but luckily we were playing the only team worse than us in the west.

i still dont understand why hitch is still going with this win and youre in policy. neither goalie is exactly giving us a chance to win, and it seems like when mase and garon are playing everyother game (cuz they cant win), it throws off the entire team. he needs to stick with one or the other, or maybe even call up lacosta? thats just my opinion
