Columbus Blue Jackets (Official Thread)

If you look at the scoring of the top three lines for Nashville v Columbus it really isn't close. Columbus wins. I think that Nashville is toward the bottom of the league in scoring. That's on paper though. It's a testament to their D and goaltending that they are where they are with regard to the play off race.

Rinne is keeping the Preds in games. He is their Steve Mason and he has been great this season. C bus needs to strike early tonight.

I'm calling it now - Mason is going to score an empty netter tonight.

How fucking awesome would that be?

In all seriousness, I'm pretty pumped for this game tonight. The atmosphere versus the Penguins was electric. I don't expect it to be quite that intense (doubt a large portion of the crowd will be Preds' fans), but I do expect it to be pretty great in Nationwide. You really can't beat this frantic run for the playoffs. The only thing that rivals playoff hockey in sports is hockey right before the playoffs. :tongue2:

Does anyone know if Fox Sports will do playoff games with our TV people or will they all be on versus?

I saw a commercial on Versus last night that said Versus would be carrying 50+ games in the first two rounds, including double headers. Kind of made it sound like they were going to be the only carrier. But I don't know.

By the way, the Dallas/Phoenix game last night was pretty ridiculous. Maybe the worst goaltended game I've ever seen.

I'm looking to improve to 9-1 in person for the season. (I forgot a game I went to when I said 7-1 a couple pages back.) They've won 7 straight that I've gone to now.

I would like to see a physical but disciplined game. Knock the shit out of the little bastard 22, but don't take stupid penalties doing it.

Not sure. A friend of mine has the tickets with him. We're behind one of the nets though.. I think. It's not center ice, but it'll do.

I want to say section 109..

Nice! :banger:

I'll be in 113 tonight. We swapped our tickets in 116 for these so we can see what it's like being in the CBJ offensive zone twice a game.

someone needs to tell [strike] Robert Lang the 2nd [/strike] Huselius that Nashville will let him puck handle at the blue line all night long :shake:

I'm beginning to think this team peaked WAYYYY too early and now their deficiencies outweigh their positives.....
