Still 2-1 BJs at the end of the 2nd. Osgood keeping DET in the game, stopping Nash and Umberger on back-to-back shorthanded breakaways. BJs petitioning for permanent residence in the penalty box, but Mason standing strong. CBJ will have 14sec penalty kill to start 3rd.

That B2B in Carolina is going to be tough. They are smarting from a 5-0 waxing the other night and fighting for the last spot in the east.

Oh well, no such thing as a gimmie from here on out. Detroit, SJS and Boston all go down on the same night. Wow.

Detroit and @Calgary are the only tough ones (@ 'Canes maybe). Not saying they win the rest, but the schedule is pretty even the rest of the month. They definitely have their chance right in front of them. Stars, Ducks, and Oilers are their direct competition. Avs and Blues at home should be easy (though this past week proved that to be false). Is 12 points in these 9 games a good number? Will they need more? less? Is it realistic?

Got one of the tough ones out of the way. Hurricanes tonight and then the rest of the month isn't too hard.
