ESPN Rumor Mill again

Predators GM David Poile has been asking around to see what he could fetch for C Radek Bonk, according to the Ottawa Sun. Bonk, 33, is currently out of the lineup because of an eye injury but he should draw interest from teams looking for a two-way center with the ability to score occasionally.

Bonk, who will make $1.6M this season, can be an unrestricted free agent July 1.

The Sun speculated that the Blue Jackets might consider him "as a stop-gap."

2nd time they've matched up this season. Prior to the previous matchup of Masons, the last time two netminders with the same last name played against one another was in April of 1986 when Darren Jenson of the Flyers was matched against Al Jensen of the Caps.
