interesting story about hejdas first child

Morning skate -- Red Wings (Puck-rakers)
-- Hejda was all smiles today after his wife delivered the couple's second child. The boy, Matheas, is 8 pounds, 9 ounces. He is 52 centimeters long. When TV broadcaster Jeff Rimer wanted a conversion to inches, Hejda turned to Steve Mason, perhaps not realizing the Canadian goalie also was raised in a metric culture.
Mason spread his hands about two feet apart to give the press an idea of the size of Baby Hejda. But Hejda, a bear for detail, wanted accuracy. So he retrieved his cell phone, which has a metric conversion function. The baby is 20.47 inches. "Huge feet," Hejda said.
But the best detail might have involved his wife Tereza. "She was up and walking two hours later," Hejda said proudly.
ill also note she was at hockey fest and up and about for hours on her feet there on sunday...

So what do you think about tonight JO?

Mason is back and mono free but Detroit seems to have kicked it up a notch here lately. They seem to have decided to play defense to go along with that offense, which is pretty much doom for everyone else if they can keep it up.

the team who scores more points will win the game...

seriously, depends on the play. if columbus comes out checking it can be a game. if mason plays to his capabilities it can be a game. if detroit poesses the puck and plays their control game, it could be a long night. i think this is a critical game. i hope to be optimistic about the outcome no matter what. id like to see 3 pts this weekend, 2 would be ehh ok i guess, 1 pt would be a disappointment. your best players have to be your best players. i look for a heavy game from columbus. if they play heavy, itll be a great hockey game, if the play dozy and light itll be a long night...
