Columbus Blue Jackets (Official Thread)

How bout that! Rick Nash with 4 points! A new career high!!!! Great all around game... Have the DVR set for tomorrow nights game!!! Hockey season's back!!!!!

I also wanted to know what the thoughts were about the new jerseys?! I personally don't like them.. I like the all blue with the black sleeves and the lace up front better than what ALL blue including sleeves and the NHL logo at the point on the collar.

I love 'em... very classy appearance.

Another change from last year is the stars on the sleeve.. There used to be three running down the sleeve now there is only 1 on the wrist area... I don't like em!
Although I DO like how they kept the former 3rd logo for BOTH away and home jerseys..

NEAL C. LAURON Dispatch
Defenseman Ron Hainsey, left, has scored a power-play goal in each of the Blue Jackets' first two games.

A Connecticut Yankee in Ken Hitchcock's court, Blue Jackets defenseman Ron Hainsey emerged from the locker room yesterday donning his familiar blue baseball cap with the "N.Y." insignia.
He said he has received little grief for advertising his Yankees loyalty during a playoff series with the Cleveland Indians. And certainly none approaching the venomous levels directed toward Cleveland Cavaliers star and fellow New York fan LeBron James.

Blue Jackets notebook: Lines aren't straight yet
Modin's pairing with Nash provides physical presence
Tuesday, October 9, 2007 3:30 AM
By Tom Reed

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

The Blue Jackets did some line juggling yesterday morning, but coach Ken Hitchcock cautioned that the changes should be scribbled in pencil, not pen.
Left winger Fredrik Modin skated as first-line center between Rick Nash and David Vyborny. The second line was Sergei Fedorov centering Jiri Novotny and Nikolai Zherdev.

yes and no bernier was flat out shown up and out played by mase in the super series. bernier will be playing in la this summer, now you have price getting the start in the igloo tonight also.

reality is you have a two man dual for the 1a spot, neither off the two big boys was jumping out to let stevie get a shot, both goalies appear healthy, you have to do somethng to develop players. dave rook is an excellent goaltender coach up in london. but dont think steve will get pointers from the big man here in columbus

paski is a rfa this year freddie no signed for 2 years, should be interesting we will see.

ps we can have mason back once his jr season is over (its london they lost a lot but they are always good)

okt gets scratched tonight.

look for a nice write up tom about nasher and the great ones thoughts on him...
