If its not a complaint about travel to the game site being longer, its a complaint about throwing a ball in inclimate weather.
Wow! Show me where I used the word snow?
What I said is that rain is just as taxing on a team as cold weather.
What I am implying is that teams that never have to leave their region to play an NC game have a distinct advantage.
What I have said repeatedly is that you CAN play football in cold weather.
What I will add is that blizzards in the north are no more common than rain storms in the south or west.
In the past I have suggested that there be four sites: Chicago, New York, Miami, NO or Houston and LA or SF.
Not a single Big 10 team plays a game in Soldier Field, Notre Dame is the only team I know that plays in the Meadowlands with any sort of regularity. The same holds true for Player's Stadium in Miami. Likewise I'd prefer to see Candlestick to the Rose Bowl.
I would suggest that the final game be rotated among the 4 sites.
As the NFL amply demonstrates each and every year is that football CAN be played in cold weather sites and that players from warm weather schools
preform quite well in those situations.
