He's 61 years old with a very "meh" record. This is the definition of a lame hire. Like said above, they'd be better off with Bo. At least you know you're getting 9-10 wins. Riley has been one of those coaches that has a pretty good season every few years, but is basically a .500 otherwise. If they wanted to return to relevancy, they needed a dynamic coach, not a "blah" guy. Just a terrible hire.

In 14 years, He's had 4 9 win seasons. Bo had 7 out of 7. Huskers won't have to worry about getting blown out by Wisconsin every year, they will be too busy getting blown out by Illinois, Northwestern and Purdue.
