Which means he has been on the coaching staff of the last three BCS National Champions.

Re: Pruitt is slated to receive $850,000 annually, according to an ESPN report. He was making $500,000 at FSU.

Rumors circulating in Dawg boards indicate FSU did match, but he has a lukewarm relationship with Jimbo Fisher at best.
He's also very close friends with UGA OL coach Will Friend.

While this is a very exciting hire, it doesn't mean complete staff continuity.

LB Coach Kirk Olivadotti has accepted the LB coaching position on Jay Gruden's Redskins staff
DL Coach Chris Wilson has accepted the same position for Coach Sark at USC.

"Former Penn State defensive coordinator Tom Bradley has agreed to join the West Virginia coaching staff, according to industry sources.

An announcement is expected early next week, just days ahead of the Mountaineers opening spring practice on Sunday, March 2."


I guess they wanted someone who would make Dana Holgorsen look less sleazy by comparison.

Those within the coaching community tell us president Jim Tressel will be actively involved in choosing Wolford’s successor, and that the search could be quick. Florida Atlantic associate head coach/offensive coordinator Brian Wright could be a name to watch. The Ohio native served on Tressels’s staff as a graduate assistant in 1997, and returned as quarterbacks coach in 2001. He was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2005, and stayed until taking a similar position on the Montana State staff in 2009.
