Coaching changes: coaches hired and fired, comings and goings

apparently you don't quite understand how things in Mississippi Work.

Moorhead was as Yankee as they come.
Born in Pittsburgh, went to school in New York, every job pre-MSU was all in the northeast.
them boys in backwoods Mississippi (and Starkville is as backwoods as it comes) don't care much for Yankees with zero ties to ole Dixie.

Napier is from Georgia, played at a school in So Carolina, worked at both Clemson and Bama.
This is all very true. I attended a game early in the season there. Had front row seats and listened to a parent of a freshman complain that his kid wasn’t getting reps. The basic point the guy made was that this head coach could never coach in the SEC because he didn’t “get it”. Fucking moron.

post script. Said freshman got into the game late, muffed a punt. I suppose that was Moorhead’s fault too...
