Career slash line of that projected lineup

Oscar Mercardo .246/.295/.399 (a leadoff man with a .295 career OBP is brilliant!)
Ahmed Rosario .268/.302/.403
Jose Ramirez - .281/.354/.494
Franmil Reyes .263/.326/.495 (when hes on hes on but when hes not hes pretty brutal)
Josh Naylor .249/.309/.383
Bobby Bradley .178/.245/.356 (only 45 ABs. Known for terrible plate discipline in the minors though)
Roberto Perez .212/.302/.364
Andres Giminez .263/.333/.398 (only 118 AB in the 2020 short season. Highest minor level was AA where he was not good offensively)
Daniel Johnson - Only 13 MLB ABs. Has been a capable minor league hitter (.284/.344/.460) but we will see what he does in the big show.

A very nice combo of not being able to get on base mixed with little power. Winning formula.

I would think having the city/fan base despise you would put a dent in the ego factor.

Assuming we truly are going to “reinvest” some of the savings who realistically should we target.

That proposed line-up looks like it will get shut out 80 games.

Theres really not much out there this year in their presumed spending range. Any signing we are all going to laugh at.

:slappy:

Good plan. I remember “Spahn and Sain and pray for rain”, shit we don’t even have “Bieber and Bauer and pray for a shower” because they wouldn’t pay him either
