Are they going to claim some “we polled the fans” bullshit on this one. Cause I’d like to meet all the supposed fans who thought this was a good idea.

I don't mind the name all that much, honestly. If it's going to change, it could have been worse. But the logo is fucking terrible. You have a blank slate and that's what you come up with? That looks like something created on some generic online logo creator.

Listening to Dolan's interview tonight, he remarked that a lot of other team names had been copyrighted/trademarked, whether be due to a college or pro franchise, so they were trying to find something unique. My hunch is that played a significant role in them deciding to go the Guardians route. Even an uncommon name like Spiders baseball has probably been trademarked by Richmond U.

I'm committed to the NY Rangers, the Chicago Bulls, and the Chicago White Sox. I'm looking for any excuse to trade the Raiders. If an NFL team changes to the Spiders, I'm all in.
