Cleveland There’s Always Next Years (2021 Season)

In spite of recent series dominance by the Indians, Detroit is actually favored to beat Cleveland today. I'm sure that is because Turnbull has had a no-hitter recently while Hentges has been all over the map.

As a side note, this year is the one where the trading of four starting pitchers in recent years is showing up to be a problem. Logan Allen was getting roughed up before being demoted. McKenzie has been bad, he needs to gain significant strength and muscle before he is going to be a true big league starter. Hentges can't handle being in a big league rotation yet, either. These guys just are not able to sustain quality pitching for 5-6 innings on every 5th day. Not sure why they are still bringing Quantrill out of the pen in low leverage situations, as I see him in the rotation as being preferable to both Hentges and McKenzie.
