same guy who did the browns video and the hastily made cleveland tourism video...he is really good
I often wonder about John Adams. I mean just how long can the man go on beating the drum for such a poor product. I wonder what ever happened to the couple who used to sit on the visitor's side. They used to come to every game up until about 2 years ago and then they would only come to the Friday night games. He used to switch his bright cap every inning. They were true fans but maybe time finally caught up to them:sad:

John survived the 70s & 80s, so I'd guess he can go on through anything.

Becoming pretty clear Masterson was a one year wonder...

My question, as this team unravels as the summer wears on again, does Acta get the axe? He deserves some credit for getting some pretty talent-challenged teams to play hard the past two April-Junes, something Wedge never seemed to be able to do, but they just cannot sustain it. Ultimately, talent is the great equalizer...and this team doesn't have much.

According to Baseball Reference, under Pythagorean Tribe should be 45-60; Acta's got 50-55 out of them. This whole season has been smoke and mirrors by Acta to squeak out as many wins as possible.

Pick any contender in any division and compare their position players to the Tribe. How many Tribe players could start for that other team? One? Three? Doubt it's more than that. Do the same for starting and relief pitching. Again, only a couple guys from Cleveland would be preferred. With players like that, how can anybody blame the manager?

Well, I'm not...totally. I phrased it as a question, because I'm not going to sit here and call for his head when he's managed to at least get them playing hard for decent stretches.

But, this is mlb. Attendance is suffering because, even when they're winning, nobody buys them as a contender. Front offices tend to look at the manager as the problem more often than not. I'd actually like to see what he could have done with some of the teams Wedge wasted.

Managers are cheaper to fire than getting actual talent
