Roberto Hernendez Heredia

Who the fuck makes up the name Fausto Carmona?

I used to be a code breaker for the FBI...ive come up with this hidden message

if you switch the F and C you get Causto Farmona...lets break down the first name Causto...if you seperate the letters you get Ca us to...if you look deeper into this you get:
Ca = California
us = United States
to = To (as in Go To)

So you get Go to United States, California....

if you break down the last name Farmona, and seperate the letters you get...Farm on a....
Farm = Farm (where Roberto will be)
on = on
a = a

add everything together you get this secret code
Go to California, United States, on a Farm

if you look at his real last name Heredia this means Here-Day, dia is day in spanish...meaning Here-Day is code for Today...so if you add everything up you get why "Fausto Carmona" was using a fake identy to hide his future employment

Go to California, United States, on a Farm, TODAY!

RAPIDO! RAPIDO!

0-8 with a 6.67 ERA last year....perfect fit to replace Roberto Hernandez Heredia in the Indians rotation

also they signed a couple of more studs in Ryan Spilborghs and Gregorio Petit

http://www.indiansprospectinsider.com/2012/01/indians-sign-spilborghs-petit.html

Today the Cleveland Indians announced that they have signed free agent outfielder Ryan Spilborghs and infielder Gregorio Petit to minor league contracts with non-roster invitations to Major League spring training camp.

Spilborghs=runs! Last year hit .210, 3 homers, 22 RBIs, couldn't crack the lineup (and was the 5th outfielder) for a crappy Colorado team that finished with a worse record than the Indians...BRILLIANT! CLINK! :slappy: :slappy:

Do they think having 5 #5 outfielders=having one #1 outfielder? That having 8 pitchers with ERAs over 8 means it will make up one pitcher with an ERA of 1? Are we going with the Dr. Frankenstein integration by combination approach? What...in...the sam...hell...fuck...

Gregorio Petit=run production! I mean shit the dude has ONE CAREER RBI. YES ONE. I mean how can he not improve on that substantially? This year he might get...I don't know...5!!!! :slappy: :slappy:

Can you see these guys picking up the phone: "Yo this is Gregorio...you are...who? You want...what? To sign me to a contract? Are you shitting me? Dad, is this some kind of sick joke? I will organize your sock drawer if you really want, just stop screwing with....wait, Antonetti? Really? Fuck YES I'll sign, I don't care for how much or what the terms are, fax that fucker NOW!"

Carmona...err Hernandez Heredia asks for forgiveness

http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/7484132/cleveland-indians-fausto-carmona-asks-fans-forgiveness

"I ask for the forgiveness of my fans, the government of the United States and the Cleveland Indians for this situation," he said upon leaving the court, where a judge released him on bail of about $13,000.

best part of the article is the nugget on the side

Beyond Fausto Carmona, the Indians still have strong pitching at the top of their rotation and an offense that should be much better, writes ESPN The Magazine's Buster Olney

Is Olney on crack? what part of the Indians rotation is "strong" other than Masterson?

Ubaldo = terrible since AS break 2010

Tomlin = a good innings eater but far from "strong"

Derek Lowe = lol

Kevin Slowey/whoever else they throw into the #5 role = ^

http://mlb.sbnation.com/2012/1/20/2722189/roberto-hernandez-heredia-fausto-carmona

So 28-year-old Indians starter Fausto Carmona is actually 31-year-old Roberto Hernandez Heredia. The news is barely a day old, but it already feels much older than that. Maybe it only feels much older than that to me. Anyway.

There's a lot of mystery involved in how this sort of thing takes place. How a player assumes another age and another identity. Courtesy of Mark Schwab - and courtesy of Pedro Gomez - we get a new nugget:

ESPN's Pedro Gomez reports Fake Fausto was paying hush money to the family of the real Fausto. They outed him when he wouldn't up the $ paid

Well isn't that a thing? Hush money! Legitimate scandal!

These fake names - at least most of the time, they're not really fake names. According to Gomez, there is a real Fausto Carmona. It's just that the Fausto Carmona we thought we knew wasn't the real Fausto Carmona. Again, it's reminiscent of what happened with Leo Nunez/Juan Carlos Oviedo:

Oviedo honored his late father's wish when he turned himself into authorities earlier this month, confessing that he had assumed the name and age of a boyhood friend in order to improve his marketability as a young baseball prospect.

Carmona and Nunez didn't make identities up. They assumed other identities, with permission. I'm not sure why ex-Carmona stopped paying his hush money, if that story is true, since he earns a high salary, but I suspect more details will continue to emerge.

I get less excited for baseball every season. Eventually I think the NBA might pass it. I actually like watching the Cavs, at least.

This page alone shows why I get less excited each season.
It's fucking depressing. I actually thought the Tribe would at least sorta be players in FA this season (not Fielder or anybody of his ilk), but so far, this offseason has been no different than the past few.

Oh well. It's painful, but I'm a diehard. The Tribe has always been and will always be my pro sports first love. There are ways to compete as a small market team, and the they seem to understand that with the added emphasis on the draft. Just have to build from within.

Agree, and the Tribe is my #1 pro team as well. It's just if we try and build within, it could take years and years until we can make that kind of run again :lol: and that's depressing

:slappy: they are REALLY reaching now

http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2012/01/indians-sign-julio-lugo.html

The Indians have signed Julio Lugo to a minor league contract with an invitation to Spring Training, reports Dionisio Soldevila of the AP (on Twitter). He's an ACES client.

Lugo, 36, spent last season with the Braves, signing a minor league deal in May and getting released in September. In between, he hit .231/.286/.365 in 58 minor league plate appearances and .136/.208/.136 in 48 big league plate appeances. Lugo gives the team some infield depth along with Jose Lopez and Andy LaRoche, who signed minor league deals with Cleveland earlier this offseason.
