And I'm not sure I've seen anyone fall off a cliff as severely and quickly as Ramirez. From MVP candidate to useless.

On August 17th, Ramirez had a slash line of .303/.414/.640 (OPS of 1.054) with 31 doubles, 37 home runs, and 91 RBIs
In the 25 games since then, he has a slash line of .163/.287/.228 (OPS of .515), with 4 doubles, 1 home run, and 8 RBIs - that is a slump of Napolian proportions
For the season, Ramirez's slash line is now .279/.392/.571 (OPS of .963), with 35 doubles, 38 home runs, and 99 RBIs. Still a good season, but it could have (should have) been so much better.
lolNot even in cruise control anymore. Car is parked and waiting for postseason.
