Eh, now is the time for it to happen if it was gonna happen, no need to rush him back as the division is pretty much locked up anyhow (barring a legendary meltdown from the Tribe and legendary surge rom the Twins)
it would have been nice to see if we could have caught whoever wins the West and gotten home field advantage for their first-round of the playoffs. Without TB, that is probably impossible now.

I don't think it's impossible.

Good news anyway is that the Astros are only 1 game ahead of the A's right now.......it could be possible we wont even have to play Houston. Which would be sweet.

The Tribe can also coast into the post season. The West winner is likely going to have to stress and battle it out until the end. Which maybe helps our cause some as well.

Indians with their worst loss in recent memory.

Baltimore began the day 50 (that's right, 50) games below .500 (36-86). Worst team in baseball.

Alex Cobb, Baltimore's starting pitcher, entered the game with a 3-15 record, 5.31 ERA, and 1.488 WHIP. Worst starting pitcher in baseball.

Of course, Cobb throws a 5-hit complete game (100 pitches) and the Indians go down 4-2.

Absolutely awful.

Not sure how much validity there is to this "report" (more like speculation)....

If the conjunction was "or" I'm guessing it's valid. I don't see the adding the $ for both. All this does is put Cutch in play. Having said that, my guess is theres either a framework in place for Donaldson, with ownership approval to spend the money or there's not based on him being healthy in the near future. They probably already worked that out on the old Indians front office GroupMe.

if we could get rid of Francona's best friend, Kippy, that certainly could save us some dollars. If they make this move, they better be pretty sure that Bauer is going to be ready for the playoffs and I mean ready. Just do not see Dolan spending all of this cash unless they can move some cash also.

Alonzo gets base hit.. Putting him on first and Ramirez on third. Francona substitutes Davis for Alonzo and Cabrera swings at the first pittch… Double-play. Absolutely made no sense to put Davis on base if Cabrera is going to swing at the first pitch without Davis running.
