No shit. What is Zimmer, like 0 for his last 30?

Went to see the Columbus Clippers last night. Naquin is their starting RF. He was batting .311 but sucked in that game. So did just about everyone else save Michael "Last Bat in World Series" Martinez. Brutal night. Would have been a rout if the Clippers hadn't turned 3 Double plays.

Up 6 games in the Central with 45 games left. Essentially if the Indians play at a .500 clip (23-22), the Royals or Twins would have to win 65% of their remaining games to get to 88 wins. Still a lot of head-to-heads, however.

I'd take this team into the playoffs as they are playing (read: pitching) right now. Which can only mean things will blow up in the next month. Shitty.

Was thinking about that last night too. Hopeful this injury works as a blessing to save his innings and have him carry the load in October again- should starting pitching regress from what it has been recently (which I fully expect).

Supposed to pitch in Columbus tonight. The Cleveland fan in me says he returns a disaster.

I don't think the Royals or Twins have the horses to pull that off.

I'd be more concerned about the Indians flopping and going like 17-28 or something like that. Which would allow KC/MIN to play it closer. Especially with the head to heads remaining.
