Crimony, it's 8 bucks to see the Sky Sox here...

Upper deck is 8bucks, bleachers are 10bucks. lower box down the 1st/3rd base line is 18 and the ones behind home plate are obviously a little more. club seats are in the 30s/40s I think but really that's about it.

I was shocked how cheap tickets were the other night when 6k fans walked up.

Haven't seen a "*facepalm*" in this thread in about 2 weeks.

The good thing about getting walloped the first 2 games of the season in MLB is that there are still 160 games left.

Of course, that could also be a bad thing. :wink2:

:slappy: first place battle with the Royals in mid-april, gotta love it

the Royals trot Kyle Davies to the mound tomorrow night... he boasts a 9.00 ERA and 2.21 WHIP on the season and has given up at least 4 runs in all 3 of his starts....hopefully the bats can get to him quick and Carrasco can manage to not get lit up

It's still early, but I am well stocked. I anticipated next year being the one that it all comes together. Maybe being premature isn't all that bad.

In years past, I would say to expect to be held to 1 run on five hits by a pitcher like that, but this year they seem to be hitting everybody pretty well except for Dan Haren and Ervin Santana, so hopefully that keeps up.

The Royals offense has a lot of guys playing really over their heads so far, Francoeur, Alex Gordon are .250 guys hitting in the mid-.300s right now, so hopefully this is when when they crash back to earth and realize they're the Royals. Seattle handled them today.

Listening to Mike & Mike talk to Buster Olney (who I think is pretty knowledgeable when it comes to the game) and he said he thinks the Indians are legitimate.

Basically I'm posting this because they're talking about the Indians on Mike & Mike, and who the fuck thought positive discussion about the Indians would happen on ESPN once this year?

Draft day?

But really I've watched more of the Indians so far this season than the past 2 combined. They seem to have played pretty well since the first 2 games so I'm hoping they are legit. The 2 losses to the Angels weren't bad losses.
Baseball is the sport I know the least about so hopefully the Indian's management has been making the right moves over the past few years and this is when it all starts to come together. It would just be nice to have an ace like CC or Lee on the roster. That would probably make everyone feel a little more legit.
It will be interesting to see what they do when they put Grady and Brantley in the outfield together.

I caught that, too. They quickly moved on to how soon the Yankees can buy Felix Hernandez from the Mariners.

Thus far, Mike & Mike in the morning AND Buster Olney have been VERY kind to the Indians this year. This is the 3rd time they've discussed the Indians with glowing remarks in the last two weeks that i've heard.

Buster has also written about the Indians in a positive light on espn.com, whereas other "analysts" have simply said this won't last and given a couple reasons why it won't while leaving out very key points/facts.

Buster also said, last week, that the Royals farm system is loaded and to watch out for them the next couple years. Could Tribe-Royals become a big deal beyond this week?
