Cleveland Indians (2011 Season)

...and they've bounced back from two bad losses that I was convinced were gonna send them into a tailspin. Granted the Royals appear to be turning back into the royals, but still...they bounced back.

Just keep grindin'...
And this has been a continuing story so far this year - they bounce back. I think this very young team doesn't get too down or too up.

Tribe going for another sweep tonight. KC sends Kyle Davies, who pitched well against them last week. Carmona goes for the Tribe, looking to bounce back from another bad cold-weather start. Weather looks slightly warmer w/ a high of 57 called for today...but that puts things squarely on the border of good, warm weather Fausto and atrocious, cold weather Fausto. Also expecting 35-45 mph winds, so things could be adventurous. :/

It will be interesting to see who pitches against the Tigers this weekend. Gomez is supposed to go Friday but since Huff pitched Tuesday night for the Clippers he would not be available for Saturday's game against the Tigers. If White can throw 95 mph, I say what the hell and bring him up. Look what Vinnie can do throwing in the mid-90s and White has more stuff than that.

I get the feeling White is gonna be the guy.

Tigers lose again to Seattle....it would be nice to complete the sweep tonight and pick up another game

Ben Zobrist only drove in 8 runs by himself against the Twins today too...

The Twins may be reverting back to mid-90's form.

I think it's a wait and see approach. If they're still performing in a few weeks, the crowds will start showing. I think a large portion of the fanbase is still pretty jaded from the C.C./Cliff/Victor trades.

Fans, not just Tribe fans, crack me up about trades sometimes. Some of the guys they got back in those trades are leading this current team and playing well. Would they have preferred those guys left as free agents and got nothing in return?

It's an unfortunate part of the game that, sooner or later, your best players end up being Red Sox or Yankees. That's all of us, not just Cleveland.

All you can do is try to drain their farm system. :wink2:

The casual fan, or about 80-90% of any given fanbase, doesn't think this way.
