Cleveland Indians (2011 Season)

Another position to mention might be first-base with Duncan hitting the ball the way he is and LaPorta not so much. However, it is nice to have Duncan's bat in the dugout just waiting for his chance to pinch hit.

You're reaching here. LaPorta is not tearing it up offensively but he is holding his own with an OPS hovering around .800. He's also playing a solid 1B while Duncan would be a hack at 1B. Duncan is in the right role currently as a PH and an occasional play against LHP. Looks like he might get some extra AB's at DH depending on Haf's situation so hopefully he keeps hitting well.
