From watching most of the 2nd quarter last night I get the feeling the Cavs are going to have trouble putting points on the board this year. I'm beginning if the Waiters pick was made to insure that they stay in the NBA cellar for an another year in hopes of hitting the lottery next summer and adding another true star. Hopefully Waiters will figure it out, but I don't see it happening this year.

i'll reserve judgement until waiters is actually playing along side irving and the starters. but everyone knew he was going to be a project from the start.

this HAS to be the mindset level headed cavs fans take with Waiters...alot of fans were already calling Waiters a bust after the one preseason game and summer league fiasco but i think when playing with the starters then he should be fine

As soon as MKG went #2 in the draft most of us knew we weren't going to get an instant impact player. We all hope Waiters can be that Wade type of player that some of the analyst think he could turn into. I've said it before but IMO Waiters wasn't a pick made for this year. I'm sure Grant wouldn't be upset if it takes Waiters a season to get in the NBA groove since they could really use another top 5 pick before they improve into a playoff team. This is the last year that the fans would be ok with them sucking for the foreseeable future.
