Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

Kevin O'Connor has an interesting idea for the Cavs...

Everyone except LeBron and Kyrie should be movable, and Griffin would be wise to dangle Love for a trade package that includes a top pick and cost-effective contributors.

I've put some thought into it, and this may be our best move. Philadelphia is desperate for a star. Grab the third pick and a few of the younger guys on their roster and see where you stand. Paul George is unlikely to come on a multi-year deal, and running it back with Love and LeBron a year older probably won't result in a title.

Westbrook is a great team mate that had to ball hog [Mark May] after KD would brick shots. Mainly because he might be the worst clutch All Star in the league when the pressure is on.

Hard disagree with that. If Westbrook was a good teammate, he would've made the players around him better. Every player on the Thunder roster regressed this year.

And how can you say Durant isn't clutch after watching this series? He single-handedly beat the Cavs down the stretch in game 3 and secured the win in game 5.

They should only go for high effort guys that are top defenders, long, quick, and can also shoot. No problem, right? Those kinds of players are a dime a dozen. I say pick up 3 or 4 of them.

That's an excellent idea. The Cavs should put together a package and make an offer for the most promising type of player like that......Andrew Wiggins.

Because games 1 & 2 were blow outs. Sure, he did well down the stretch in game 3 but how much of that went back to the Cavs forgetting how to play transition defense again?

As for game 5...? Hey, easy to perform when you're under such little pressure and the opposing team has (again) gone away from their most effective strategy.

I've seen Blazers fans talking about Allen Crabbe for Love don't know anything about him, but how about Love to the Blazers, Shump, Frye, a Blazers pick and maybe Cedi to the Pacers, PG and Crabbe to the Cavs? Money works.

LeBron and PG would have to cover the 4 and they'd need to find another body at backup PF a but Irving, JR/Crabbe, PG, LeBron, TT would matchup well with the Warriors. Need to bring back DWill2

Not getting my hopes up...not getting my hopes...

1) I love Paul George 2) Rest of the NBA would have to be piiiissed. Rightfully so, but I'll be happy to see the Cavs on the good side of it. Screw it. 3) Small clapback to all the Pacers fans that gave me crap about Cleveland burning LeBron's jersey. They are having a full meltdown tonight. So many middle finger gifs sent to PG's Twitter by my friends (again, somewhat rightfully so after he tanked the franchise's trading value, but that's on the org not doing their due diligence).

Anyway, I'm actually a fan of both the Pacers and Cavs. Mixed feelings after PG has been a class act to the city, to have him put this out there. At least he did it before the draft? It was pretty known all along, but I think locals kept some hope. They are scrambling now. At least it'll be back to cheap tickets at the Fieldhouse again.
