Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

They haven't really needed Curry in the first 2 games
Actually, they kinda do... but green got silly. But if you know curry is out you gotta roll the dice stopping Thompson and for fucks sake attack Barbosa. Personally in Cleveland I attack curry with the switch the same way and make him play d and oddly make your goal to have the same # of free throws as GS. Them at the line actually controls the game and they're not all that great a t it. And dish out the hits.

So where does Cleveland go from here. Next year they have 67M tied up in Irving, Love,Thompson, Frye and shumpter. They have 0 cap space, 0 roster maneuverability, and Lebron holding them hostage again this summer. If they get swept I think Lebron turns and runs again

Betting against the Cavs in big games is the easiest money that you're ever going to make.

It will be interesting to see if this team has enough heart to win a game at home before bowing out in Game 5. Doubt it.

Love is gone, and possibly Irving too. I think this team could've beaten OKC, so I'm not sure that dismantling it is the thing to do when there's only one team that can beat you, but you also can't go into each and every season knowing if you play the Warriors you're going to get destroyed. Irving has shot 12/35 in this series. They could move Kyrie for Chris Paul, but who knows what Paul has left in the tank. That's a total mortgage of the future to win immediately. I'm not sure what value you can get from Love, either. He's been mediocre since arriving here, and big men aren't exactly in demand now that Golden State's small ball lineup has taken over the league. Maybe it's time for pay cuts across the board to bring in the Paul-Wade-LeBron-Melo old man superteam.

Beyond Irving and Love playing like shit, the bench sucks. JR, Shumpert, and Tristan Thompson have all been no-shows so far. Richard Jefferson should not be the second best Cavs player in the Finals. I thought they should've gone after Thibodeau after firing Blatt, and Lue has done nothing to prove me wrong. I was honestly more excited about this team when it was Irving, Waiters, Wiggins, and nothing but potential. Now they have title expectations and LeBron is running on borrowed time.

David Griffin is going to have the hardest job in the world starting in about two weeks.

Beyond Irving and Love playing like [Mark May], the bench sucks. JR, Shumpert, and Tristan Thompson have all been no-shows so far. I just don't see anyone taking irvings or loves contract unless you take back an equally shitty one. Thompson is beyond dead weight if they move that contract, Griffen should get GM of the year.

Maybe Jim Buss would do something stupid like Love for DAR and cash or something

The bottom line is that golden state was just the best regular season team of all time, and get the gift of some of the best wwe officiating the NBA can provide. It's disconcerting that Cleveland packed it in midway through the 2nd when the refs took over.

Tristan Thompson and his contract are absolutely killing this team. Where's the energy he had before? Not attacking and just looking around half the time.

If I were Lue, I'd run a train to the glass all game next game. Drive with people crashing non stop. When they finally sag in or get in foul trouble, then look for JR or Frye on the wing. They settle too soon and they can't shoot anywhere near what GS does.

Play man on defense and continue to hit them on their screens. Make every play hurt. They only started making those threes when they knew Cleveland was packing it in. As long as the Cavs keep up the pressure, they can win but it seems every game against GS, they just puss out halfway through and then GS makes a big run.

I HATE to give Warriors credit but this disaster is a result of their defense... it's forcing the Cavs to panic and do stupid stuff
then on the Cavs defensive side, they are playing a defense they are not used to.. and Warriors are finding the very wide open man at the bucket

Unless the Cavs can find their shooting touch... we're done

Gotta feel sorry for Gilbert; Love, Tristan and Frye should give their paychecks back... granted Frye was only in 4 minutes... but his defense is worse than Love's...

Man I can't stand Greene

I've accepted that people will always complain about officials, but the refs are not the Cavs' problem. Cleveland shot 14 more free throws than GS last night, the Warriors also committed 20 turnovers, yet the margin of defeat was 33 points.

That's just a major league ass kicking.
