Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

Every time I watch Baylor play, I come away wondering what the hell
Does everyone love about Perry Jones? I just don't see it. Heck, Quincy Miller
Looks like a better long term prospect.

I saw a mock draft that had the Cavs taking Q. Miller with their early second round pick. I'd gladly take him at that spot.

Cavs now have quite the stockpile of picks with which to surround Kyrie with talent. In addition to their own picks, I believe they have the following:

2012 1st round from LAL
2012 2nd round from NO (currently #32 overall)
2013 1st round from MIA or LAL (whichever pick is better)
2013 2nd round from ORL
2014 2nd round from ORL
2015 1st round from MIA

Additionally, there is the potential of getting a 1st round pick from SAC at some point between 2012 and 2016 (Protections: 2012-top 14, 2013-top 13, 2014-top 12, 2015-16-top 10).

I don't watch enough college bball to be a good judge, but what about Fab Melo with the Lakers pick or the Hornet's second rounder? I only saw him play against UConn and he was the most impressive big man in the game. Andy would probably be a good mentor for him.

the cavs need a legit big in the worst way. fab melo is a bit of a space cadet in the drew gooden sense, but is definitely talented. he's also likely leaving cuse since he can't stay academically eligible.

the real question and concern will be how he can defend in the post in the nba since cuse runs zone almost exclusively.

I haven't seen Melo in at least a year. When I did see him play, I was underwhelmed by his athleticism. Watching Drummond play last night against ISU, didn't take my breath away either.

That's what I was thinking. I've seen Drummond play twice. The first time Melo outplayed him and last night I saw a big guy standing around. Hell if that's what they want give me a pair of drywall stilts and pay me a couple mil a year.

Ironically, the very early mock drafts had him going number one. I recall one referring to him as, the next Dwight Howard. I would take Sullinger over him at this point. Also, Lamb his teammate didn't impress me as a top 10 pick.

Edit: [Mark May], I forgot to sign out!

Umm, Roger... don't you have a mock draft to run?

not sure I like them taking another point guard in the first round... would like to see some size drafted.

The only guard I'd like the Cavaliers to draft would be Peyton Siva IF he declares. Dude would be seriously impressive playing along side Kyrie.

After watching the UK/ISU game, I came away really impressed with the play of Royce White of ISU. UK's Davis still tops "my big board", but I would take White in the second round, anxiety disorders and all. About half of the mock drafts have him going in the second, some don't even list him.
