Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

Nothing against Wade or Bosh, but IMO Kyrie is the best teammate Lebron has had. JR going bad JR in the 3rd, but maybe Heroin Jesus needed to get run over.

I think he's on the way, but Dwyane Wade is a future Hall of Famer. We all hate the Heat here, but Wade is an all-time great SG. Definitely top 10, and likely top 5 at that position.

I liked what I saw from the Cavs today. I think that effort is enough to beat the Bulls in 6 or 7, but I'd like for them to play just a little bit better. This will do fine for a first round series, though. Kyrie Irving is such a treat to watch offensively. I love that Kyrie-Shump-LeBron-Love-Mosgov lineup. I would trade Smith for Shump if the matchup demanded it, but overall those five are going to be damn hard to top for any team in the league.

Is there a defensive concern in giving up 100 points?

Nah, and even if they give up 100 the whole series (I mean as long as they win in 5) I wouldn't read much into it, looks to me like the plan is more to have Kyrie cause havoc by making Thomas stop him over Kyrie stopping Thomas, so, I think in general the plan is to outscore them.

My take is that the Celtics played about as well as they can, especially in the first half, and the Cavaliers did not play that well almost the entire first half. Also, I did not think that JR Smith played the entire second half so the Celtics did not even have to worry about his outside shooting. I still stick with my initial Prediction [Image]broom[Image]

I just hope the Clippers can take out San Antonio. The Spurs are like LeBron kryptonite sometimes. If they reach the finals, SA is the last team I would want to see there if I was Cleveland

I want nothing to do with Kawhi Leonard. When he shuts down LeBron and Tim Duncan starts playing like it's 2004, we're in trouble. I think the Clips, Spurs, and Warriors are the three most likely Western Conference champs. I think the Cavs could beat all three, but I don't like their chances against the Warriors or Spurs.

We need to get through the East first, though. I am getting a little concerned about a potential series against Chicago and then Atlanta. Maybe it's just flashbacks to 2007, 2008, and 2009 when we had dreams of the Finals and couldn't get out of the East. Obviously this team is better than that, but we still have no idea what we'd get from Atlanta.

It seemed like Boston came out of the gates with high intensity.
I think they got a little head strong after getting those last two wins against us lol.

Bulls in the next round are going to be a battle. I can see that series going 6-7 games.
In my mind, it will be a successful year if we beat the Bulls and get to the Eastern Finals.
I don't expect to get to the Finals, but it will prove this group is special, if they can.

It will be a major accomplishment for this team to get to the Finals in the first year together.

I think you hit the nail on the head with regard to the Boston game but I differ with you a little when it comes to the rest of the playoff. I think if they can beat Chicago they will beat anyone that they meet in the Finals of the Eastern Conference. I would not be satisfied with anything less than playing for a NBA championship.

I'm yet to see Rose put anything consistent together over the course of 7 games. One game he's amazing, next game he's chucking three's and looks afraid of contact.

I will say it... I AM NOT AFRAID OF THE BULLS!!! It will be a stressless 5 game series and the only problem will be Chicago gooning it up. The only team that will give this team a problem is San Antonio. Atlanta might be able to take them to 6 games, but it will be one of those we are up 3-1 and drop game 5 and close it out in game 6.

Don't stress guys... we got this
