Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

I don't think it's possible, but the Cavs really need the Pacers to get up to the 5th seed in the playoffs. I don't think they'll drop to 8th. IMO the best case is:

1.Hawks
2.Cavs
3.Raptors
4.Bulls
5.Pacers
6.Wizards
7.Bucks
8.Heat

As long as the Cavs don't have to play the Pacers in the first round I'll be ok, but it would be great if the Pacers and Bulls had to face off in the first round either as 4-5 or 3-6.

Looking at the Bucks schedule, and the way they've been playing, I think there's a good chance Cleveland sees them in round 1. I agree that that's the best option at this point. I think they're probably the least dangerous playoff team.

Big 2nd quarter including an 11-0 run last night led to an easy road win at Orlando. Kyrie was on fire again going 12/15 but didn't need to score 57. Big night for JR Smith as well. LeBron was two boards shy of a triple double. Scary moment in the 3rd when he seemed to land funny on a jumper but he finished the game. Wonder if they start to put to distance between them and the Raptors/Bulls if we don't start to see him take an occasional night off. Tonight is a return trip to Miami where the Cavs lost in LeBron's return earlier this year.

I never thought a basketball team from Cleveland would be my only chance of a professional championship in close to 50 years. Simply baffling.
Well, when the other two are the clowns and the Indians...

I'm convinced that the fact that the Tribe couldn't get it done in the 90's is a pretty significant sign that it ain't happening in my lifetime. But who knows.

Looks like we may have to get blown out by Miami twice a year in order to be a championship contender.

Wade likes to show LeBron he still has gas in the tank, and LeBron has been terrible in both games in Miami. That's fine. I'll settle for a regular title contender. They can enjoy two wins against the Cavs and the 8 seed every year. Fuck you, Pat Riley.

Also: Whiteside is one of the dirtiest players in the league.
