These clowns have no idea what to do without LeBald on the floor. Kyrie has been playing like chalky dogs [Mark May] the past few games. Am I the only one underwhelmed with supposed top-10 player Kevin Love? They're [Mark May]ty.
It was always going to take time for Love or any player to go from only option on a shitty team to 3rd option on a good one...that said, after the season so far, I don't know if he can make that transition at all. He might be great in the aforementioned Bernard King role but only a shadow on this team. Building blocks for the future would sure be nice...though Parker's injury shows that is no sure thing either, I guess.Agree. Love is just ok. He's nowhere near the ridiculous top 5 player that was being tossed around here awhile ago. I want Wiggins back.
The Cavs think Varejao tore his achilles tonight. This makes getting a rim protector an immediate priority. I'm also excited to see Thompson in the starting lineup when you consider this: http://bballbreakdown.com/2014/12/22/lineup-love-cavs-starting-right-guys/
The problem is the Cavs don't have anyone to move. All they have is a 5 mil trade exception and picks. Next summer Haywood turns into a 10 mil voidable contract that will have value, but not now. Thompson is instantly going to be getting 35-40 minutes a game so he is untouchable. Unfortunately I think they are pretty much stuck with Thompson, Haywood, Kirk and Amundson at the 5. In some lineups they can go small with Lebron, Marion, and Love as the bigs. I'll be impressed if the front office can pull something out of their ass to find an adequate big without having to move Thompson or Waiters. Feel bad for Andy.
