Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

Irving is the same way. He'll play a couple of possessions to perfection and then wither like a dead flower on the next one.

This team has a long way to go. I'm starting to realize that this will be a 2 year project.
Yep. Irving can look really good in spots, then totally indifferent. The defensive concerns were well stated coming in, but Jesus Christ...half these schlubs don't look like they've played a lick of defense in their lives, or have any interest in trying.

And I'm still not convinced Love's here past this year. If this year ends up being the flop it's looking more and more like it could, I would not be the least bit surprised if he bolted, because, well, Cleveland.

Also because Kyrie has been holding the ball for entire possessions. Waiters-esque.

Not sure what to do about this team. They don't seem to have any chemistry. I'm not sure if they should strip the team down or give it another few months. I think the major issues are Love, Varejao, Thompson, and Waiters. Love looks totally disinterested. He needs to demand the ball and play like a star. He can't slink into the Bosh role and become nothing more than a few good rebounds. He doesn't play enough defense for that anyway. He's shot the ball 7 times for 8 points at the time I'm writing this post. Varejao plays well with LeBron and Kyrie, but he can't defend at a high level, and I'm not sure he's a starting Center on a championship team. Same for Thompson. Terrible defense. Waiters... well, same issues as the last few years.

I'm sitting here and tearing my hair out watching them take pull-up threes or contested 14-20 foot jump shots. The Wizards have done nothing to put this game away, yet I haven't felt that the Cavs were ever close. They need a Trevor Ariza-type at the SG position. And a Tyson Chandler-type at the C position.

His bolting is one reason I didn't want to trade Wiggins for him. His lack of d is another. Now I'm just waiting for him to get hurt. The icing on the cake will be when Wiggins wins MVP five years from now...

Passing and cutting isn't easy, it just seems like this team gets too lazy to do it consistently.
Also, too much hesitation to take the shot after getting the pass. These guys pump fake so many times, no one is buying it.
Does everyone need to dribble themselves into a rhythm?
The more I watch Waiters the less I like him. Too eager to get his own shot, and his rainbow jumpers don't look good.
Thompson has limited offensive game, at best. Great energy on defense but not much else, wish he were 2 inches taller.
Love looks like he has lead in his shoes. Literally anchored to the ground.

If anyone gets traded this year, my bet is on Love and Waiters.
Im not sold on the idea that Love will re-sign if the Cavs have a bad year.

12 games in.. has the bench scored 100 points total yet?

I don't see the problem as anything to do with the big 3.. but the rest of this team sucks
How does the back of everyone's jersey look guys? maybe you can move your feet BEFORE they passed you by

Big 3 are stressing because when they leave the floor... they have to hope we're not down 10 by the time they re-enter
Worried about Blatt
