Didn't the Browns already use that approach this year?

Probably the best bet will be to find someone that can get them to play good defense and hire an OC that can build off of what Scott put together. The new coach needs to be a guy that people want to play for because from what I've heard Scott was lacking in that department.

And that is why Scott was fired. The players hated him, and it seemed like Scott didn't care that players hated him and/or didn't care to coach. He was as disinterested as the players.

As for Phil Jackson... LOL He is marrying Jeannie finally... if anything I see Jackson kinda trying his hand in a Pat Riley type role for the Lakers. versus coaching.

You have to go unproven assistant coach guy. Yes, this sucks... but no one else out there looks halfway decent among the retread coaches.

If the Cavs re-hire Mike Brown, imagine what the Browns or Indians will have to do to come up with a new "Most Cleveland Thing Ever".

If the dude couldn't win with Lebron I cant imagine the level of suck with this bunch. The only way I wouldn't mind seeing Mike Brown on the bench is as the DC.

to be fair, it took a miami heat all-star team getting punked by dirk to get lebron to understand what he needed to do to win a title.

that, and mike brown didn't load up rashard lewis and turkey-glue full of steroids and have dwight howard go ballistic at the foul line.

so, while i hope brown wouldn't be their first choice, there were things that happened during his tenure that were beyond his control.
