Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

My Uncle tells a story of Tristan Thompson from AA tourneys, where his sons team was handling TT's team. Then Tristan showed up, took off his sweat suit and just took over. No one had any answer for the guy, ever. I've been waiting to experience the same thing from him. I hope were getting to see the start of it here.

cleveland tried to actually lose by playing luke walton and omri casspi together for extended minutes. the celtics would have none of it.

tristan thompson beasted again last night. it might actually be mildly entertaining to watch he and speights together.

luke walton actually didnt do all that bad suprisingly...but ya

I still can't believe we got a 1st round pick plus a couple guys who actually should help... in exchange for a box of crayons and a granola bar.. Can Chris Grant (aka Exhawg) be arrested for this?

david stern might want charges to be filed when cleveland uses it's remaining cap space and an expiring contract to net a 2014 1st round draft pick as well.

I was pissed when I saw a lineup of Walton, Casspi, Gibson, Livingston
and Trisan. He went with that lineup early in the second and to start the third quarter. Then again, I get pissed every time I see Casspi enter the game.

TT is always the first one out whenever I'm at the Q. He's always working one on one with one of the coaches, and it's a hard workout, which is suprising since it's a couple hours before the game.

I notice, he's been dribbling the ball more, when he gets it away from the hoop. He had a nice dribble drive into a right handed jump hook against KG last night. He missed but it actually looked like a decent shot, something I wouldn't have thought possible last year. He's definitely a hard worker and looks like he's going to work out after all.

I think Casspi is worth his weight in ticket and merchandize sales. There is a huge, wealthly, Jewish population in the greater Cleveland area. I'm guessing there are a ton of little kids running around Beechwood and Moreland Hills wearing Casspi gear.

This trade could really hurt our tanking efforts. Cleveland lost a lot of games due to the poor bench that was just upgraded. We also lost a number of games where Zeller got pushed around inside with no answer.

i wouldnt be too worried...if anything i would actually like to see Selby do well and also Spreights...we are going to be in the lottery no doubt about it...finishing dead last will not guarantee us the first pick

there's only so much losing you can contain when you have kyrie irving playing the way he is. with thompson improving as he is, it's really a surprise they're losing as much as they are. quite frankly, AV going down for the year is going to save this team about 5 meaningless wins.

Nice write up in the Cleveland Plain Dealer. I have trouble believing 15,000 + people came out in this weather to watch a an 11-32 team. As I said earlier this week, this trade could just kill our tanking:(

I was there...15,000 is about right....and this trade maybe got us 4 wins....there is nothing that will stop us from winning unless Kyrie gets hurt again...this is still a lottery team
