Since 1980, here is the list of QB's drafted:

I will reference the QB's drafted the past 10:
2005: Cleveland drafted Charlie Frye in the 3rd; however they missed on Aaron Rodgers 1(24)
2006: No QB drafted and the only one arguably worth a damn from that class was Jay Cutler.
2007: Cleveland drafted Brady Quinn 1 (22). No other QB worth mentioning that blossumed into anything other than a turd that collected a nice payday.
2008: No QB drafted. Did not draft Flacco 1 (18).
2009: After Matt Stafford 1(1) no QB really got beyond journeyman status (Sanchez, Freeman, Painter)
2010: Cleveland drafted Colt "45" McCoy 3(85). Sam "ACL" Bradford was drafted number 1 overall.
2011: No QB drafted BUT could have drafted Dalton, Kaepernick or Ryan "fuckin'" Mallett without making a trade. None world beaters but better than what they have now and Carolina wasn't going to give up Cam Newton.
2012: Cleveland picked Brandon Weeden 1(21). They could not get Luck and thankfully did not trade to get RGIII. After Weeden though, the following QBs were selected: Russell Wilson 3 (75), Nick Foles 3 (88), Kirk Cousins 4 (102) were selected.
2013: No QB selected. EJ Manuel and Geno Smith were selected as the 1st 2 QBs in the draft. Piles of suck for QB draft.
2014: Johnny Rehab 1(22). Passed on Teddy Bridgewater 1 (32), Derek Carr 2 (36) that showed signs of life in their rookie year.
The Browns had their chances to draft serviceable QBs over the past 10 drafts so taking a chance is not the issue. It's the so called talent evaluators those mucus sacs in Cleveland fail at. IMO, Winston or MM are not fits in the Browns offensive schemes. They would be much better off bringing in Grayson if they must draft a QB. Just my two cents.
