Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

Someone pointed out who all Depodesta and Crew let go the last time when his analytics buddy Sashi was in charge.... hind sight is 20/20 but most of us woulda seen that those were bad moves to let Mack/Schwartz go... as well as a few on the defense...

So, that becomes my question, its pretty clear they would like to upgrade both T's and RG. (and this wirz kid projects as a RT, doesn't he? whatever, if he's at Iowa and still a project that concerns me, they know how to coach OL) -- anyway... yeah, for sure bad move letting Schwartz go as he wanted to be here, Mack is a little less clear... BUT... assuming they have to go out and sign 2 starters of those 3 OL positions, its gonna be pricey. Wouldn't be surprised if they have a Denver or SF alum veteran LB in mind to bridge the gap.

Entering year 3, Baker is already playing for his 4th Head Coach and OC. This is why you fail.

CLEVELAND: After a promising rookie season in 2018, Baker Mayfield will now be playing for his fourth head coach and offensive coordinator in the NFL. As new head coach Kevin Stefanski works to start over with Mayfield, Mary Kay Cabot, the plugged-in Browns reporter for Cleveland.com, suggested a possible addition to the QB room: Case Keenum, who played under Stefanski in 2017, helping to lead the team to the NFC Championship.

That and hiring moron coaches that can't coach well enough to keep the job longer than a year or develop a QB. Last year everything was lined up to hire a coach that actually knew what he was doing, but Dorsey didn't want to bring in an established coach that might challenge him for power so he hired Freddy.

might not go after him pick out the offense that Stefanski runs the OL guys need to get to the outside fast and that is not one of Williams traits

That's one of my concerns why the FO might take Becton. Stef LOVED his OZ before Kubiak showed up and I'm hoping he doesn't revert to those ways again. Combine that with having an "analytics" based leadership that can be obsessed with quantifying football players by numbers and numbers only. See; Coleman, Corey.

you are too concerned about analytics when the majority of the league is using them also, I do not think that the Browns will be using analytics as much as they have done under prior organizations we shall see but do not worry about the draft when free agency is right down the road
