I agree Allen can be a good pick...

In the second round.

If the Browns take Allen at 1 or 4, he likely ends up being one of the worst picks the Browns have made since 99.

I just don’t believe anyone is taking Allen that high. No GM or scout can miss the fact that he can’t complete passes or beat any team he faced in college that had a pulse. Not really good college teams, we’re talking middle of the pack power 5 schools/mid majors. It isn’t about him not being awesome because of the talent around him. It’s about not being able to make the talent around him good enough to beat some Mountain West teams. Jesus. This guy has to have the best agent around to keep his name up there like this.

In their five losses last year to Iowa, Oregon, Boise State, Fresno State and San Jose State, the offense averaged 10.8 pts/game. Seriously.

Re-read some of those teams. A “top 5” NFL draft pick at QB can’t lead Wyoming over Fresno State? San Jose State?

He started 11 games last year and threw 16 TD vs 6 INT. He threw an INT for every 2 TD in his college career. The guy is average.

Yeah, I'm off of Allen. Think Rosen and Chubb should be the obviously play now.

Can live with Darnold, but man that's Eli 2.0. Can "wow" with the pure arm and throws, but the crumbling in the pocket, turnovers and dumbfound look are uncanny when the Bucks played him. Certainly an upgrade, though.

I’ve been very patient with this franchise and hate when people say they’d be “done” with the team after [insert scenario here]. If this happens, though, I would legitimately have a hard time watching another Browns game for a long time. Didn’t watch one win in two years for Josh fucking Allen.

Don’t worry. That isn’t happening. The Browns aren’t going to let people who know people leak their plans (if they even have them) 2 weeks before the draft. People who know people are fucking idiots and people who listen to people who know people are fucking idiots, too.

But what about people who know people who know people inside the Browns organization and are friends with JA’s second cousin’s uncle twice removed on his mom’s sisters husbands side of the family?
