Risky move, because outside of a portion of a season as an OC, what has he really accomplished to warrant a HC job? I mean, I get it, you don't want to upset the apple cart; but there are inherent risks in hiring a guy without much of a resume. He did perform very well as a coordinator, and Baker loves him, so it makes some sense. Plus, it's not like the field of potential head coaches was all that impressive, anyway. He did work under Arians for a few years, who I think is a phenomenal coach. Maybe something rubbed off on him. If Arians was 10 years younger, I'd be all in on him. Bonus: it's not McCarthy.
