Sounds like Williams is out and they're gonna go a different direction. Will be interesting to see what they can get. For the first time, this is an actual attractive job. Arguably the most attractive this year.
I do know this, they should try to find a coach that's okay keeping Kitchens as OC. He and Baker look special together. But most coaches want to bring on their own coordinators.
I don't think Williams was the long-term answer. He did a nice job giving a listless team a shot in the arm, but nothing on his resume indicates he would maintain it. I'm as cynical a cleveland fan as you'll find, but i have little doubt Dorsey will finally find them a HC to keep things moving in the right direction. Who that might be, i really don't know; just as long as they stay away from McCarthy.Go figure we'll blow up something that shows promise. Drafting Manziel and letting Hoyer go all over again.

I get it, the Kitchens/Baker pairing looks really good. I just don't think Williams is the right way to go long-term, and there are other good coordinators out there if they can't keep Freddie on.Dorsey doesn't concern me so much. Haslam on the other hand...
Plus the work, experience, leadership and skill shown to us by Kitchens shouldn't be so quickly thrown away. It's near impossible bringing in a new HC that doesn't want "his guy" and I'll be remiss to see the Browns part ways with both Williams and Kitch.
I'm also not fond of more scheme changes - especially defensively.

I wouldn't disagree there.https://torontosun.com/sports/footb...Autofeed&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter
"source" but if you're asking me to take Arians, McCarthey or a combination of Williams and Kitch... then I'll take the latter.
