I also forgot to mention that I do think we need to bring in a another LB. Not just because of Kirksey and I do believe that injuries have hindered him this season but the LB corp could use some depth. The only reason that I brought up a DB is because of Ward. I almost mentioned last week that I was a little concerned about him because of his lack of stature. I do not remember how he performed with his physicality when he was at Ohio State but he just cannot seem to bring it in the NFL.

The concussions are very concerning with Denzel. I believe that's two now this season, and that is not good at all. Would be typical Cleveland luck to draft a legit shut-down corner and have his career abbreviated by concussions.

Arians is a great coach but only at this stage as CEO/consultant type of HC. This is why a mentor role would be good. He does not have the motor to be an all-in 24/7 type of HC at this stage but someone to guide the the way for the next HC and download that knowledge to would be great. Players and fans love him, but he is also known to be stubborn as hell and take loyalty to a level that he will look out for for specific players and see they get paid even at the detriment of the team.

So having him in a temporary HC role without all the control is a great way to utilize him if they really did entertain the arrangement .
