oh they didn't just sit around

They showed the world they were fools for agreeing to a trade like that, then that they were incompetent fools by fucking up the paperwork.

That has to be the most Browns thing ever. Pulled a double negative that ended up being a positive only because they were too incompetent to just simply do something stupid.

I can't stop laughing

Are they too stupid to realize that QB isn't the problem? Tom Brady would suck in this offense with the shitty ass WR's they have on the field. If they truly wanted to help the team they would have looked for WR help. I was hopeful the Moneyball approach would work, but these idiots obviously can't figure out football. Burn it down again. Use all the picks in the top 3 rounds on WR's and OL and be amazed how much better either of the QB's look. If Hugh Jackson can make Andy Fucking Dalton a Pro Bowler he can turn Kizer into an above average QB if he has guys like AJ Green to throw to.

I think this is the most embarrassing part of the story. Not only did they make a national disgrace by failing to complete simple paperwork, it now comes out that they were going to give up a 2nd and 3rd rounder for AJ f'n McCarron.

Would have been better for this to have never happened, instead they double down on the embarrassment.

So, basically, the Clowns tried to shoot themselves in the foot, and missed?

It's still Hoyer, I'm not saying the man is going to come in and lead us to 8-8.

But at the same time I also realize even average and at times slightly above average QB probably means wins over Pittsburgh, Indy and Tennessee.

He's going to New England to back up Brady. Can't say I blame him.

This is exactly why things need to be put in context when getting analytical with football much like Mr Harvard.

I can't begin to fathom how any football mind would take Mayfield #1 and to even draft a mock board like that makes me laugh.

And Lamar Jackson at #5 overall. The nerds at PFF make for some interesting discussions about advanced stats, but they clearly have no business putting together a draft board.
