"Real players" don't go 1-31 over two seasons. "Real players" don't win 4 games over three full calendar years. They get paid more in one season (and perform really poorly) than many of those fans will make in a lifetime, yet those fans pay hundreds of dollars every week to go sit in a stadium and watch them stink up the joint. Those "real players" need to stfu and concentrate on getting better at what they're paid to do.

Even if the protestors aren’t real fans, most of the Browns aren’t real players. They’d all be undrafted FA if not for the Browns.

Realistically, those are probably the most "real fans" in the world. Nobody is faking fandom in that weather with that windchill. Nor painting their cars like that for an off day. That really was the heart of the fanbase... just trying to have a bit of charitable fun despite the Factory of Sadness.

Pity the team doesn't have many "real players"

Still won’t matter.

Maybe not right away but with Dorsey, Wolf and Highsmith this could be the end of the analytics. All three of these guys are football men with very good pedigree. The FO at the Browns HQ is getting a little crowded and some guys are going to have to go. The only caveat is Jimmy has to get out of the way and let these 3 guys go to work.

I'm starting to lean toward throwing money at Cousins. He's an established above average QB (although overpaid based one what it would take to sign him) and signing him would allow the Browns to use all their picks to fix the other issues. If Alex Smith was a FA I would go for him, but I'm not comfortable giving up anything before the 3rd round in a trade. I know Pryor was a bust with Cousins this season, but if he's gotten over himself I'd like to see him back in Cleveland. If Gordon can keep his nose clean until next season they have the makings of a good group of WR's especially if they can use one of those first rounders on the best WR in the draft.

They need to resign Duke this winter so he doesn't get a sniff at FA next year. I'd try to resign Crow, but if he wants too much let him walk and find another back in the draft. It would be smart to use one of those high picks on another OT. If JT comes back he probably only has a couple years left so it's time to groom his replacement. Could start at RT for now. Don't really like any of the QB's this year.

The name being thrown out there because Dorsey is his biggest fan apparently?

Chase Daniel :slappy: :slappy: :slappy:

The fuckin' guy loves Big 12 quarterbacks for some reason. You think it might be a joke but I can see this team pulling a Manziel all over again and taking Mayfield. You have a GM that loves these types of "gunslinger" QB's and an owner
desperate to inject what little bit of life into the fanbase that he can. Sound familiar?
