Perfect Season Parade 2.0 held in Cleveland to mark Browns' 0-16 season

upload_2018-1-6_19-21-9.png

Some might have pegged it as a celebration, but Chris McNeil, the organizer of the Cleveland Browns' 0-16 parade, made one thing clear Saturday afternoon after the Perfect Season Parade 2.0 finished driving and marching around FirstEnergy Stadium.

The parade was held to mark the team's 0-16 season.

It was a protest -- one Cleveland Police estimated between 2,500 and 3,200 people showed up to either watch or take part in.

In 20 years the Browns haven't learned anything. I personally think that Barkley is a high pick because he can catch the ball out out of the backfield and has break away speed. Zeke wasn't known for his prowess receiving the ball...

Maybe not but Barkley is no Zeke and the Browns aren’t the Cowboys.

right but who are the Browns going to pick Darnold or Rosen and waste another pick on graveyard QB? They missed their shot with Wentz and it ain't coming back. At least Barkley hasn't been run into the ground and doesn't have an injury history like most of their 1st rounders...

Oh hell no. That’s a no on Darnold and Rosen. They’re fucked so Barkley is fine I suppose. What’s it matter anyway.

Barkley has high bust potential. So the Browns will definitely pick him

....Dropping passes is still not acceptable.

Whatever you say Braylon.
Can he play safety instead of Peppers?

FIFY
My dream offense for next year (relatively speaking of course)

JT comes back, centers and guards the same. Spend money on the RT you should have spent with Schwartz.

Gordon on one side, Coleman in the slot, and a WR2 either in FA or in the first 2 rounds, draft Lazard in rounds 4-5 for depth.

Duke as the complementary RB to Barkley at 4.

Alex Smith at QB with someone new (Rosen or Allen) sitting for a season.

What we will get instead:

D’Umbass starting. A scrap heap veteran who has never started or started 10 years ago as a backup.

Gordon out wide until he fails a drug test. Another disaster WR veteran looking for a last paycheck to go with Coleman outside where he can’t run any routes.

Completely underused Duke Johnson when they spend FA money on a RB who will average 2.6 yards a carry.

JT will retire, Bitonio will get hurt again, and Dorsey will spend the #4 on a tackle who will struggle on the right side, while Coleman will be a disaster on the left.

1-15 again

I have serious reservations about Barkley that high. He's more Metcalf than Eze... and faded in the 4th quarter of big games in College. According to google he's 230... bigger than Eze... but sure plays more like a 190lb speed back that doesn't like contact. How's that gonna work in the NFL when DEs and LBs are bigger and faster? What he saw against Ohio State will be every week at the next level...
Trent Richardson comes to mind. All the media hype in the world.
Good hands ... but team already has a shitty Baylor WR and Duke Johnson as slot / receive from the backfield ...

I may have been a little heated and drinking that day. Njoku has great promise but I still don't think we had to trade up for him though.

But Peppers set me off. As a collective board I can't think of another player we've been so undoubtedly unified in our stance of "DO NOT TAKE". Maybe Manziel comes close? But that's about all I can think of.

Before Manziel and Peppers there was #3 Braylon Edwards. I suppose he had some decent numbers with and after Browns... but guy was always a liability when it mattered.
Unlike a certain Super Bowl MVP that was drafted 25th the following year.

Edit: And how could I forget Courtney Brown and Trent Richardson

Nah, I mean Bridgewater is an interesting idea, but his knees are shredded to the point you can’t rely on him as “the guy” anymore. I can’t see any scenario at all where they don’t burn at least one of those first rounders on a QB. Supposedly, Dorsey likes Allen because of his size and mobility...might be able to get him at 4. But I can’t see any way that they don’t draft a guy and sit him for a year. And, given that, I don’t think Bridgewater is the guy, because he won’t want to be playing to keep the seat warm at only 26.

So Rosen and Darnold both declare and the Browns have the #1 pick.

We are about to find out which one of them is the bust

Why not draft both Rosen and Darnold

I feel like I'm the only person that doesn't see Barkley has a top 5 pick. I've watched the guy dead to rights drop some open passes no RB, let alone a D1 athlete should. I just don't see him as a dynamic weapon off the ball and in pass pro to justify that type of cost. Anybody else think he is somehow Zeke like? Because I don't.

Thank god I'm not the only one. He seems like a good kid ... but the numbers are inflated against cupcakes... a RB at #4 has to be a stud.

Apparently some Browns players are butthurt that a parade was held because of how bad the Browns suck. I gives no fuck about their feelings as they didn’t seem to mind going over a calendar year, soon to be over a year and a half, without winning a football game.

Really... unless they turned down their paychecks they should stfu and concentrate on not sucking.
Maybe if they offered to donate several games' worth of paychecks to the same charity their opinion would matter...

I like the people saying this scares away free agents... yea... that's what scares away free agents. Fans turning lemons into lemonade. Not the actual record, Front Office, team culture, etc.

I'm sure the CFL folks are glad he's still a smartass.

Johnny Manziel Trolls Cleveland Browns About 0-16 Season

Johnny Manziel, selected by the Browns in the first round of the 2014 NFLdraft, apparently trolled the franchise when he shared an Instagram picture of his days with the club with this caption: "0-16szn."

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...leveland-browns-about-0-16-season?share=email

Johnny fucknuts does realize he is part of the problem....wait nah he’s too fucking stupid to realize that....

Johnny doesn’t realize he wasn’t even good enough to be part of the problem.

Dude, you got let go by a team who went 0-16 and still couldn’t use you. Their biggest need? QB. What position do you play again? God damn, stupid is stupid.

Go snort another rail off of a horse’s boner or whatever it is that you do well.

I see players are upset with those whom attended the parade saying things like they're protesting against them as players, they're not real fans etc etc.

Totally unaware of the parallel and the similar narrative some of these players attempted to combat during the season with the protests during the anthem.

Of course the same I'm sure goes for some parade attendees who felt the protests made you anti American and don't seem to realize the hilariousness of Saturday.

I just find it pretty amusing.
