Cleveland Browns (2016 thread of unrelenting dumpster conflagration)

I just dont see Hue Jackson lasting more than a year. its not just being a young team, its pushing out the older good players, wanting Kessler over Wentz since they couldn't get Goff, going with RGKnee over anyone, not pushing the FO to get Robbie Gould who probably would have won yesterday, the constant trading down, playing injured players (both McCown and RGIII kept playing after serious injuries) the defensive coaching hires, the Offensive coaching hires, he's just been one big giant clusterbuck
Um...WUT? Taking the bargain basement kicker was managements call, and Hue took 3 starters, the tow truck guy, and a bag of footballs to Miami and almost won a game. Kessler and RG He owns, but he's hardly the biggest problem.

Was Justin Gilbert playing? Just wondering
He was on the sidelines, helping his Squeakers lose to our boy Wentz

Speaking of the Eagles they are screwing the Browns more with just their QB the Browns should have selected.. Now their draft choice is probably going to be in the low 20s. If they continue to play the way they have been. I still say that may be Wentz would not be as good as he looked yesterday if he were playing behind the Browns OL,, especially Pastor..

Yeah, there's 0.0 chance they can another coach after one year given the scrap heap he was given to work with. I said back when he was hired, they HAVE to Give Hue 3 years to show some kind of progress given the roster he was dealt.

The Browns are actually perfectly applying the tank. They've lost the past 2 games in ways to make it look like there is an end to the tunnel. I really hope they give Hue at least 4 years to see what he can do and let moneyball do its thing. They are competitive with bubble gum and duct tape so let's see what they can do with 2 more drafts. It's going to get really ugly when they trade the Joe's.

.The only problem I have with him right now.. From what I have read he wants to make RG III his reclamation project and I do not think that is ever going to happen.

It won't work, but I don't think Hue is married to RG3. He was worth a look, but the next draft is the time to get the QB of the future. Doesn't help RG3 is made of glass.

It wasn't the FO, it was Hue's call. Jackson said long ago, as did Haslam and Sushi Brown, Hue Jackson was going to run the football side of the operations. Miami is also 1-2, and could just as easily be 0-3. Whoop de doo. Talk to me when he almost wins a game vs the Patriots
They also said Sashi Brown has final say on the 53 man roster. Of course they also almost beat Baltimore, who are 3-0. But yeah, keep telling yourself this was a playoff team before they hired him.

Theres a 100% more of a chance they fire him than they keep him, if he keeps losing and making bad choices. He wasn't given a scrap heap to work with, he put the scrap heap together, letting multiple pro-bowlers walk. He's 100% gone if they go 0-16, literally zero chance they keep him. He's outta here the second the clock hits 0:00 with an 0-16 year.
