Cleveland Browns (2016 thread of unrelenting dumpster conflagration)

Funny you mention that. Just found myself wondering today...

Who'd the Browns take in the 4th round this year?

This brings up the million dollar question...

Would Dak Prescott be Dak Prescott if he were drafted by the Cleveland Browns?

What about Carson Wentz? The Browns passed on him and he won a few early games and everybody wanted to jump on the "Browns fucked up" train. But does anyone really think Carson Wentz, as we now know him, would have had any success with this Browns team, as we know it? He would have just been added to the long list of names on the grave of this year's QBs. How many QBs have the Browns burned through? They take Wentz and throw the #2 overall pick to the wolves and he's already on IR and Browns fans keep yelling curse.

I pray that they take Allen from Alabama or Garrett from A&M and not try to take one of the undesirable QBs at the top of this years draft. This build is going to take a while and Browns fans don't know anything other than waiting so what's a few more years of throwing bums to the slaughter before they have a team in place capable of not getting a top QB investment from getting murdered?

Dak Prescott would also be on his 3rd tour of concussion protocol worrying whether to hang up his cleats of NFL career

Letting Mack and Schwartz walk is criminal

I doubt Mack stays. Schwartz? Yeah, no like on that. Paz has certainly taken his play up a notch this year especially considering how bad he was in spot duty at RT before.
The real crime was drafting Erving. Who the hell saw him on tape and was blown away is beyond me... JT, a healthy Bito, an average center, Paz and Schwartz would have been a pretty damn solid group.

Mack wanted to leave...but Schwartz WANTED to be here. Think about that, they had bookend tackles that wanted to play for this godforsaken fucklips of a franchise, and they couldn't even get that right. He was one of the very few players that has ever amounted to shit after being drafted here.

If you take him at his word - Mitch Trubisky does as well.

So he's he's a dumb shit, basically.

Schwartz wanted the most money he could get and tried to leverage Cleveland. However, they could have still signed him. But he was going to the highest bidder, which just happened to be Cleveland at one point.

So, let's say the Browns draft Christian McCaffrey. We know McCaffrey doesn't play in meaningless games.... so... does he ever play a down in the NFL?

I have to think that be about the most Browns thing they could do...

He wouldn't play for the Browns because he would catch staph during a holdout after wrecking his motorcycle because he burned himself with a joint while trying to readjust the inflatable swan on his back.
