Nah, I understood what you meant other than the correlation between Carr Quinn and Weeden. Point is I don't see where (and I mean Ray Farmer, not you) if they think that Manziel (or any other QB) isn't "their" guy at 4 (compared to the other options) and Carr (or any other QB) is "their guy" at 26 (compared to the other options), I don't really care what Weeden, Quinn or anyone else panned out.
Part of me thinks they're not in love with either, and are sort of wondering if Bridgewater goes into freefall.... you know, like Quinn did... or... Aaron Rodgers did, and might consider that risk with a number of back up plans.
The other thing to mention about Manziel is... and this is linked to his maturity level that I mentioned earlier is... I think you need to be mindful of the demands and expectations that will go along with the job. You're gonna have to be mautre enough to handle the fan base. Not to actually compare it to Jackie Robinson, but, we need someone that can break the "Browns Quarterback Barrier" and not flake out like Couch did or act like a mindless dumbass like Weeden. Whoever it is, is more than likely gonna have a tough road ahead of them, and have the mental make-up to navigate that path.
