Browns meet with two more quarterbacks

The Browns vowed to do all the research they could into this year’s crop of draft eligible quarterbacks and they’ve lived up to their word.

By the time the draft rolls around, it seems the only quarterback that the Browns won’t have met with is the one that Kevin Costner considers taking in Draft Day. The team added two more to the list on Friday.

Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the team met with Eastern Illinois’ Jimmy Garoppolo and South Carolina’s Connor Shaw on Friday.

Johnny Football please. I'd also love to get Watkins actually hte most. If we can get Watkins at 4 and Manziel, Teddy, or Carr at 26 I would seriously be soooo happy, especially if it was Johnny Football at 26.

It's nice to see Gipson getting more recognition. He won't be a annual all-pro. However he could be that consistent, fringe pro bowler that always brings the blue collar mentality to the secondary.

It is sort of strange that you do not hear about the Browns working out any other position players unless the Browns beat writers just are not reporting it or do not know which is a good possibility.

trading down and picking up a starting qb is something i don't think even kevin costner could pull off.
