you can laugh, but jerry jones is goofy enough that it's totally possible.
Let's just say that the laugh was more of a "God I hope this happens" type of laugh.

How entertaining do you think he's going to be when he continually runs himself into sacks and not hitting his check downs...?
This article (albeit that it is from totalfratmove and about the Texans) perfectly sums up my thoughts on why Cleveland should take Manziel at #4 if they can. NFL is entertainment where individuals are paid too much money to perform in front of us...given that every draft pick could be a bust, why not risk it on someone that will actually entertain? And as an aside, I actually think he will be a great NFL player...

We get to see him getting decapitated by a linebacker?
I guess I am one of the few Browns fans who would not be disappointed if they selected Manziel but for the reason above and not for entertainment. I have seen quite a few statistics saying that he has thrown from the pocket quite a few more times than other QB's that have been mentioned. I guess one of the problems that he does have is that he does not throw completely over-the-top but has a little bit of a SideArm delivery. I think he can be taught to stay in the pocket.I actually think he will be a great NFL player...

My worst-case scenario would be the Browns taking K Mack with the fourth pick and that has been mentioned on some sites. I would not be unhappy with either of Robinson or Matthews but I also think that taking Watkins at #4 is too high for a WR in this draft.
I guess the primary reason is because we have more needs on the offense aside of the ball and we just took a very similar player in Mingo last year. I guess if Mingo had had a really good season I might be okay with Mack but I am just unsure about him. I would much rather have Robinson or Matthews rather than Mack. It is just more of a need for me.Why don't you like Mack? Can never have too many pass rushers and if Krueger does not have a bounce back year he could easily be cut after this year.

I could live with your scenario very easily and you brought up a good point about K Mack. If he could play ILB, I might not have a problem with him but I do not think that he can play that position in the NFL. I guess the reason I bring up Matthews and Robinson is that sooner or later we are going to have to address the LT position and why not do it now when we have the opportunity. Building a strong OL would be very nice for the future of this football team. I also would be okay with a trade down and taking Mosley but we would need to find a trading partner and that is pretty hard to do.I don't think any of the qb's are worth the #4 pick. 26 I wouldn't have a problem with. I almost wish the Browns had let Mack walk to make it easier to draft Matthews because I see it hard making a case to use the #4 pick on a RT when you already have 2 high paid OL. The question is how many more years does Thomas have left in him. If the answer is 3-4 I think you draft Matthews as the LT of the future.
I don't mind Watkins, but the WR quality doesn't drop off too much by the 2nd round pick. I haven't heard if K Mack can play ILB. If not then I wouldn't want him. Always keep any eye out for a trade down and draft Mosley to play ILB. I think the Browns are at the point where they can try to draft BPA unless that is an outside pass rusher. I would gamble the QB they want will be there at 26. If not there will be someone worth a look in the 2nd or 3rd.
Because there are a billion options that are better than taking someone for pure entertainment value.
