Cleveland Browns (2014 Season)

As one can imagine, the Shagsters are really enjoying Johnny Hamstring's season.

http://fantasynews.cbssports.com/fa...ziel-i-have-to-take-this-a-lot-more-seriously

So it takes a year for Corporal Fuckstick to determine all of a sudden that he should take his job seriously? And now the Browns are supposed to hand him the job next year? What a buttsocket.
There is another article on CBSsports where Gilbert is taken to task by Dansby and Whitner for his lack of effort in learning how to play his position in the NFL. I wonder how much of this stuff falls on the coaches.

On the bright side he wont get credit for this season so he'll be a restricted free agent after next season which means he's more easily controllable ....

Yep, just cost himself quite a bit of money. What an idiot...he was lucky to come back when he did to save himself that FA year, but then he goes and pulls a stunt like this and totally unredeems himself.

I wonder what they could even get for him in a trade? 5th rounder?

Seriously, at this point, just take whatever you can get for him. It's clear as day you cannot count on him to stay out of trouble. Get some sucker to give up a draft pick and let them feel stupid when he get suspended again this summer.

It's shit like this that will keep this franchise stuck in the mud for eternity. Even when they do find an elite player, he's too fucking stupid to stay on the field. Shit like this, and the total inability to identify a capable NFL QB.

You don't think having Gordon on the roster factored into passing on Watkins, trading down - then back up - for a CB that's been passed up by UFA and 4th round rookies ?

It's easy to bag on Manziel and Gordon right now, but Dansby and Whitner were right -- Gilbert has been just as much of a waste this year.

Gilbert's "waste" doesn't mean his lack of talent. Some of his growth during the season was flashed. Dansby and Whitner have said so. It's applying himself to the little things of his craft like perfect technique and up and down practices that's getting him called out.

Foosball on the other hand is both. Lack of talent and dedication.

Just a few statements on recent events.

Both west and gilbert at least flashed on the field whereas manziel has not. They former two have a chance to be contributors.

There are a lot of folks saying that Gordon has been trying to orchestrate his departure from Cleveland for a while now. If this is indeed the case, then this dude can suck a cock full of AIDS. The browns went to bat for him to try and reduce his suspension and try to set up a pseudo nanny service to keep him in line, and he's apparently still screwing up and tanking on the field to boot.

The one positive from this entire debacle is that now the browns don't have to waste another season wondering if hoyer or manziel are the answer. Bring on the Jake locker era. Lol
