Cleveland Browns (2014 Season)

Well, 7-9 is about what many of us expected. Credit to the coaching staff, team didn't quit on them.

Manziel you can cut today, Gordon trade - don't fuck up the draft by reaching for highly suspect QB's yet again.
which means... they'll offer Gordon stupid money, Cut Hoyer & Shaw, and trade up to draft Jameis

#browns oc Kyle shanahan on 49ers list of HC candidates, per source.

Please take him San Francisco or anyone else that might want him. He is a danger to QB's.

Doubt it will happen, but Trestman just became unemployed. That magic he worked with Cutler and McCown, I'd take over Shanny.

Also, ESPN is on at work in the cafe - walked in just in time to hear Meril Hoge talk about Manziel. I believe the phrase was "cut bait with that kid".
The guy has been spot on the entire time thus far.

I would take almost any OC over Shannahan. I just want him gone.. Not only is he a danger to QB's his play calling has a lot to be desired IMO.
I agree that Hodge was spot on with his comment but he is just a talking head and he certainly was not that good of a running back in the NFL so he has a lot of room when it comes to talking about talent because he was lacking in that department.

Johnny Manziel said he didn't arrange a party. Went out w friends, overslept. Josh Gordon was not with him, he said.

While I don't believe him, this dude needs to invest in a new manager or entourage or something. You figure that Lebron could give him some advice, but given LBJ's past PR nightmares, maybe it's not his firm's strong suit. Dude got $4.3 million up front and doesn't have someone in charge of doing the bitch work, like waking him up, cleaning his cars, setting up appearances, and information control. He needs to have a sit down with Joe Haden and his kept man.

I think he has been talk to by so many Browns veteran players and the coaches that he simply does not get it. The only problem with letting him go is the guaranteed money that he is owed for next season. The same with Gilbert only at least Gilbert answers his phone when the security officers for the Browns call him. Johnny did not even do that.

Directly conflicting with what others (including Browns players) have said. And wasn't there a picture of Gordon and him together out somewhere?

Wouldn't mind us taking Brett Hundley in the 2nd round if he was still there...we should move Johnny back to safety while we're at it :)

Admittedly I haven't watched Hundley this year. I am told he has been playing behind a garbage Oline and still completing close to 70% of his passes. From what I saw in 2013 however, I wouldn't
invest a pick that high in the kid.
