Cleveland Browns (2013 Season)

Actually, that was the 2005 NFL draft and the Browns took Braylon Edwards

To be fair, that was one of the very few times that I felt like they took the best player on the board. 2007 being another exception, but, well, 18 or 20 or whatever picks later, that good feeling went down the shitter.

I liked Charlie Frye.. Akron Zip...
did you know Frye was responsible for the 'creation' of Domenik Hicks?
Hicks was the top DB for the Zips.. going into senior year..
He & Frye were roomies and played catch all the time
Frye went to coach and demanded they make Hicks a WR
rest is history

Gray is the emergency QB now that we have only 2 on the roster...given that Campbell and Weeden can have their 40 times measured with a sundial and they are going against the league's best pass rush, it is a distinct possibility he might start the Baltimore game

I've heard a lot of clowns fans lament not drafting AAron Rodgers in 2005 (not here necessarily). Does anybody really think he would have amounted to anything if he ended up in Cleveland? If anything, his name would have ended up about 7 from the bottom on that pic of a jersey with all the clown qbs names on it that's always going around.

I think you're right. Rodgers is basically a statue. he would have been killed behind those lines in 2005 and 2006.

Rodgers is far from a statue. hes actually quite mobile but he takes a lot of sacks because he hangs in the pocket so long trying to make a play. Now if he had been drafted by the Browns in 05....R.I.P.
